This video ties in definitions for sustainability, as it applies to cities, by first reviewing the science behind cities, and relating the sustainability of cities to sustainable development, more generally.

To define a sustainable vs. unsustainable city, we first presented the latest research behind understanding the science of cities. An understanding of how cities and their people function, lends itself to a better understanding of what makes a city sustainable, and therefore is in line with definitions for sustainability and sustainable development.
