An Overview of the Research Process

 

By this point, you have learned about some basic epistemological foundations to various kinds of research, been introduced to various research designs, and have explored the world of research ethics.

The next part of this course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of conducting a literature review. Figure 1 below helps you to understand the overall structure of research and how the literature review fits into the larger research process.
